A Green Affair

Last week we celebrated Ashley’s birthday with dinner at Rye. I’d been wanting to try out Rye ever since it opened earlier this year, but nothing on their menu ever stuck out, so we never made it there to eat. Ashley’s birthday was the perfect excuse to try it out! I’m so happy Ashley chose Rye because it was so, so delicious! You know that any restaurant that brings out warm carbs for the table is a winner in my eyes! We started with a pickled plate and tempura avocado & baby carrots, which were both delightful. Ashley enjoyed some signature cocktails. I was tempted to have one myself, they looked so good! All of our entrees were tasty. Anthony and Ashley had chipotle corn gnocchi, Brent had a fish special and I had tomato & watermelon gazpacho with mint, feta, creme fraiche and pistachios. Like I said, very tasty. I can’t wait to go back again- hopefully soon!
