A Green Affair

I’d been wanting to try out Harvest for quite some time. When Anthony was out of town earlier this month, Leah and I decided to give the restaurant a whirl. The lighting was pretty dark, so I didn’t snap any pictures, but boy was our dinner delicious!

This weekend, after the flea market, we walked down to Harvest for brunch. We started with a miniature cinnamon bread loaf that was accompanied by a hefty drizzle of caramel. My mom had black bean soup with homemade croutons, Leah had the burger (I’m not a burger fan, but this one made me reconsider!). I got the egg sandwich on a pretzel croissant with a pickled green bean slaw on the side. It was all so tasty… every bit of it!

No matter how much you eat there (we also got chocolate bread pudding for dessert!) you never leave feeling grossly full. I think the fresh, local ingredients make all the difference!
