Anthony and I had planned on swinging by an indoor go kart track on our way to a family dinner on Friday. When we walked in we were taken to a room to watch an instructional video. The room was dark and almost every seat was taken- I hate being the last in! As I was grabbing a seat in the back the lights switched on, everyone turned around and I heard a big “Happy Birthday Hannah!!”
Anthony had planned, along with my friends, a surprise party! I couldn’t believe it!! We spent the rest of the afternoon battling it out on the track (results to come!). I thought we were still planning on eating with his family, but that was all part of the plan to get me out there! Instead, we all stayed at the French Lick Hotel and had dinner at Sinclair’s. After dinner, we headed to the pool and hot tub to chill for a bit. After I opened up my gifts (they deserve their own post!) we headed to the casino. We played some slots and mostly hung around the blackjack table- no big wins, but there were some exciting moments! We capped off the night with a late night trip to Denny’s for pancakes!
